HALL, Chief Justice: Defendants appeal a summary judgment in favor of plaintiff. The district court granted the summary judgment on the issue of defendants joint and several liability to plaintiff for breach of Atlas Stock Transfer Companys (Atlas) duty to transfer shares of Global Oil Companys (Global) stock in a timely manner under U.C.A., 1953, § 70A-8-401. Defendants also appeal a judgment awarding damages to Cowen and Company (Cowen). We affirm.
